The Prohibition from Custom & Collectable Firearms draws its inspiration from one of America’s most storied eras, transforming the classic Colt 1911 into a limited-edition tribute to the age of bootleggers, gangsters, and underground empires. Built on the iconic Colt 1911 Government platform and chambered in .45 ACP, the Prohibition pairs timeless American sidearm design with period-inspired detail. Its blued finish is enhanced by custom engraving that captures scenes evocative of the Prohibition era, complemented by handcrafted wooden grips made from genuine whiskey barrels. Produced in a limited edition of only 300 consecutively numbered units, the Prohibition stands as a bold collector’s piece, uniting classic performance, custom craftsmanship, and a uniquely American story in one memorable package.
